Growing up, I was never really aware of the effects food can have on your body. I would always eat whatever I felt like, which was usually highly processed, fatty foods rather than food that would fuel my body and give it the necessary fuel it needed. But with my family having a background of diabetes, I began to become aware of the importance of food, and what it can do, to and for our bodies. I discovered my love for eating healthy and working out, and soon began to see a difference in my body. Now I enjoy eating a variety of whole foods, and exercising daily, knowing that i am nourishing my body and giving it the best fuel possible.
