Cinnamon Banana Caramel Slice

You can never go wrong with caramel slice, it's an absolute classic...


But Hayley has turned it up a notch and created a batch using out Spiced Cinnamon Scroll Better Being Base with a mashed banana caramel filling using our favourite staple ingredients.





INGREDIENTS:


Base:

1 packet Spiced Cinnamon Scroll Better Being Base

2 Tbsp Maple Syrup

2 Tbsp Almond Butter

2 Tbsp Milk of Choice


Banana Caramel:

1 Banana, mashed

1 tsp Cinnamon

2 Tbsp Almond Butter

2 Tbsp Maple Syrup


Topping:

100g Dark Choc, melted

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

METHOD:

  1. Combine all of the ingredients for the base in a mixing bowl. Press into a lined loaf tin and put in the freezer to harden

  2. Mash banana in a bowl and then add remaining ingredients for the middle layer and mix until well combined. Spread over the base layer and put back into the freezer

  3. Melt chocolate in a microwave safe dish, heating for 30 seconds at a time until melted. Pour over the middle layer and spread evenly using the back of a spoon

  4. Freeze until set, cut into 12 pieces and ENJOY!!!
