Created from Gingerbread Cookies made with our Gingerbread Cookie Better Being Base. A delicious melt and mix bite that taste like fudgy raw brownies with surprised chunks of biscuitity ginger cookies. They've also got some crunch factor thanks to the festive sprinkles! Because it ain't Christmas without festive sprinkles.
INGREDIENTS:
120g Butter
1/4 cup coconut / brown sugar
1/3 cup golden syrup
1/2 cup cacao powder
1 -1 1/2 cups Gingerbread Cookies (made using our Gingerbread Cookie Better Being Base)
1/4 cup Christmas Sprinkles
METHOD:
Place butter, sugar and syrup into a saucepan and place over medium heat.
Bring to the boil, stirring as the sugar dissolves. Boil for a minute and then remove from heat and allow to cool.
Stir through cacao powder, biscuits and sprinkles into the mixture and mix thoroughly.
Then pour into prepared tray / dish (we used a silicone ice-cube tray) and press mixture down firmly
Sprinkle with extra Christmas sprinkles and place in the fridge for at least an hour, until set.
