Hazelnut Fudge Brownies (GF).

Who knew turning a protein bar into a brownie could feel so RIGHT!


INGREDIENTS:

2 x Hazelnut Fudge Brownie Better Being Bars

50g ground oats or flour of choice

50g chocolate pea protein or almond meal

1 egg or vegan egg replacer

90g Greek yoghurt or non-dairy yoghurt of choice

50g granulated natural sweetener e.g. Natvia

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1tbsp cacao powder


Optional: extra hazelnuts or chocolate chunks





METHOD:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine oats/flour, protein, sweetener, cacao powder baking soda and baking powder.

  3. Whisk in the egg and yoghurt and combine until the batter is smooth.

  4. Gently fold through crumbled Bars.

  5. Pour batter into a lined loaf or cake tin, and bake for 30-35 minutes.

  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into 15 pieces. Keep refrigerated.
