Hot Cross Brownies

Indulge in the ultimate Easter treat with our Hot Cross Bun Brownies. Made with rich dark chocolate chip Better Being Base, creamy yogurt, and a hint of almond meal, these brownies are studded with Hot Cross Bun Easter eggs for a festive twist. Drizzled with melted white chocolate, they're a decadent delight perfect for celebrating the season.


- 200g dark chocolate chip Better Being Base

- 250g yogurt of choice

- 150ml dark chocolate, melted

- 30g almond meal

- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- Inclusions: 1-2 packets Hot Cross Bun Easter eggs

- White chocolate for drizzling on top


1. In a large bowl, mix together the dark chocolate chip Better Being Base, yogurt, melted dark chocolate, almond meal, and baking powder until smooth.

2. Gently fold in the Hot Cross Bun Easter eggs until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

3. Pour the batter into a lined cake or brownie tin, spreading it out evenly.

4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes, or until the brownies are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

5. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the tin before removing and transferring to a serving plate.

6. Once cooled, drizzle melted white chocolate over the top of the brownies for decoration.

7. Slice and serve, and enjoy the deliciously festive Hot Cross Bun Brownies!
